I hired a car from Avis OR Tambo. I received an sms telling me of the extra charges that I would incur. I called the company to query this as I only expected the mileage charge only. I was charged the mileage, an extra day and etoll fees. When I picked the car up the consultant had specifically told me that Avis "takes care of the Etag". I was charged the extra day and extra mileage yet if I was charged for the extra day I shouldnt be paying for the extra mileage since the extra day comes with free miles. This the consultant I spoke to agreed with me on the phone. I was told within 48 hrs a manager from the branch will call me. When I failed to get a call regarding my query I phoned the branch and spoke to the manager who told me she has just returned from leave and I must speak to the call centre.
