AVIS overcharge!!! Check your bill

Booked a car online with my flight on the British Airways site only because the BA/AVIS offer provided waivers, unlimited mileage and an additional driver for free to British Airways Executive Club members. I confirmed this when I took delivery of the car. Shock of horrors when I received the bill. There were no waivers even though they appeared on the British Airways booking voucher. Who do you trust, neither!

Check your car rental bills, you may well have charges you never bargained for. Sneaking in extra charges on a number of rentals amounts to a lot. BE CAREFUL, BE DILIGENT and check. This is such a waste of time calls, emails to sort out an issue which is not of my doing except I had to pay the inflated bill! 2 months later this is still not resolved.

Shame on you Avis, don't think I will be using my Preferred Avis card ever again!

This is not the first incident with Avis. On a prior occasion car was returned with a full tank, they charged a filling fee plus an ENTIRE tank of petrol!
