Kia "THE POWER TO SURPRISE"

Cars & Transport

"The power to surprise" is quite fitting given my recent and current encounter with Kia South Africa. Whilst travelling back from December holidays, my Kia Cerato Koup malfunctioned, as a result my car was not able to drive. I contacted Kia and am still in contact with Kia 11 days later, the feedback I have thus far is that it was a part failure on the vehicle, as a result my gearbox was damaged. As of today, the most part of my car is sitting at Empangeni, whilst the other part (s) of my car (gearbox) is now in JHB, without authorizing from anyone within Kia. All parties within Kia are both aware of me and my situation however are unable to provide any assistance what so ever, I have asked several times whilst they play with the idea of repairing my car, to arrange a courtesy car in order for me to be mobile - the answer is a simply no. I have requested to speak with management in order to get traction, however, I am told that ALL management is away on holiday. So whilst my car is being stripped down and shipped around and across SA and whilst management enjoys their holiday, I am without answers and without a solution. "Power to surprise? " or "Power to not deliver" is my question?
