I booked my bike and bed to go from Pe to Jhb. I booked 3 weeks prior to the pick up date based on a referral from a person who had used them to bring a bike from JHb to PE. I was told they wrap the bike, have a stand etc. They also will wrap the bed and I was told my price to be paid upon delivery in JHB. On the day of pick up 27 Dec their truck arrives and the staff say no I must warp the bike and I must provide a stand. Long story short they drop me on the day due to no correct feedback from their original staff member who made the booking - it took an hour to book coz he first had to do the specs etc in their system! I then had 3 hours to find another company, right before New Years which is now costing me more than what I had budgeted for according to Time freight. This is a huge company and if they do accept bikes but have specific terms and conditions than it is very important that it is communicated to the client. Don't say yes and then drop me on the day - it is unacceptable and your PE branch needs to cover the difference of R800. They caused unnecessary chaos at the end of the year due to lack of training their staff and empty promises.
