I recently had an unexpected breakdown on my 2005 BMW 325i E90 due to a broken water pump and had the car taken to Forsdicks BMW Tygervalley to be repaired. As the cost of repair was a considerable amount, I could only had it fixed four days after the breakdown. During this time I noticed that it sometimes took an unnecessary amount of time to get a reply on information relevant to this, during which I had to call or email more than two times on some occasions to get any type of response. The most concerning and inconvenient thing however was today when I transferred the money for the repairs to their bank account (which unfortunately is at a different bank than mine, but along with the proof of payment) when again after two phonecalls and an email, I only got the reply late afternoon that they could unfortunately not release my car as the money is not reflecting in their bank account yet. If I were made aware of this fact I would not have transferred it in the first place but rather withdrawn it in cash or paid by debit card. This company policy of them should have been brought under my attention before hand and not in this way by holding back release of my car!
