Never Buying a Hyundai again!!

Cars & Transport

I bought a 2013 Hyundai i10 in February, last month the Pulley fell out of the engine.
I had the car towed to Hyundai Sandton. They fixed the pulley but because I was 5000km over my next service warranty didn't cover the job. So i got charged R5500 for the repair an exuberant amount for such a small car. It didn't end there when I went to pick up the car I discovered that the radio wasn't working something they failed to tell me when telling me about the problem, when i asked why they didn't tell me or fix it, they told me they forgot to tell me and that they don't fix radios.

For a new accident free car I don't understand how parts would be falling out of the engine, and why Hyundai doesn't see this a fault on their end. They clearly don't car about their customers I am still on the service plan but they still didn't service my car! Had I know that all the extras I have been paying for wouldn't be helpful I would have fixed it elsewhere for less than half the amount.

I haven't heard of any such problems from friends and family using other car manufacturers, very disappointed with Hyundai as they pride themselves on the customer care and warranties.
