Contradictory information and bad service

My manager bought a communication device on 28 Nov on which was supposed to have been delivered yesterday. The package was handed to the courier company on Friday 29 Nov with delivery (supposedly) scheduled for yesterday. After several calls during which we were promised delivery before 16:00, we ascertained that the parcel was still in Johannesburg but were promised delivery this morning.
After many more calls this morning, we were told that the parcel was actually still in Johannesburg because nobody could get hold of us yesterday. This is blatantly untrue. Yesterday Lerato said she was giving the matter her personal attention. This morning she is not in and nobody else is aware of the problem.
I think it would have been faster to make use of the Post Office speed services.
