Poor quality and late service

In July 2012 Bought one of the first Toyota 86 vehicles to arrive in Johannesburg. I was extremely excited and loved owning and driving the car until recently when it was pointed out to me that there was an issue with the paintwork.
When I took the car back to Toyota Melrose, the Service Manager acknowledged that there was an issue with the paintwork. My complaints are as follows:
1. Why was a proper quality check not done on the car before it was delivered to me?
2. It took 4 weeks before Toyota told me I could bring the car in - Why did I have to chase Toyota to have the car fixed?
3. I was told the fix would take 3 days. I have now been waiting for a week. I was told on Friday (29/11/2013) that the car would be ready on Monday (2/12/2013) afternoon. It wasn't ready, and nobody at Toyota took the time to phone me to explain that it was not ready, and when it is expected to be ready - Why do I have to chase Toyota to find out the fix is taking longer than expected?

I love my car, but I'm hating the after sales service. Let this not be a reason for me never to buy a Toyota again.
