Charged me for problems I told them

I took my car to the car service city in centurion, as I had problems with the gearbox (and also wanted to do my brakes at the same time).

I told them exactly what the problem was and showed them everything (opening the bonnet made the issue visible). I asked them to give me a quote, and left my car there.

I received a quote for about R7000, which included replacing the whole gearbox.

I can't afford to pay R7000 now and asked for my car back. Upon my request I was told I need to pay R456, which I then proceeded to ask what for?

They told me because they checked my car and repeated everything I told them (when I dropped it off) back at me.

This is extremely poor service, and I can't imagine that a company as big as yours does things like these everyday and still get clients. I refuse to use any of your shops again!
