Never in my life ever a VW ever again

My 2011 Polo Gti is currently at VW for what feels like the millionth time. Apparently the gearbox needs to be replaced, but this is no hassle-free process either. After complaining to the VW dealership at every service (and in-between) for almost a year and a half now about a strange noise the car makes when accelerating and even just driving, i was again and again assured that "it's nothing to worry about". Only after taking the car to an independent auto-clinic, was the faulty gearbox identified (at my own expense, even though the car is still under VW warranty).
I am normally a very patient guy, but VW has begun to push me too far. This car was bought brand new. What if the gearbox had completely failed outside of warranty (because i didn't "worry about it")? what if that caused the engine to seize? This is not even to mention the botched paint-job (remember, brand new) that they have also failed to correct. I'm sorry, but i am never in my life every buying a VW ever again.
