Suzuki SX4 CVT Gearbox problems

I've been complaining about a noise in the gearbox of a SX4 CVT that I bought brand new since it 45000km on the clock. After a number of emails to their Head Office and having 90000km, I finally had a test drive with their after sales consultant, only to be informed that the noise is normal in the SX4, that it has an inferior gearbox and that I just have to live with it. He informed me that it would become worse at /- 150000km and that there is nothing they can do about it because a new gearbox will make similar noises after 4500km. It is not acceptable to me (and I believe anybody else), paying R238000 for a vehicle that makes you don't feel comfortable driving long distances as it may leave you stranded anytime. Is it really acceptable that Suzuki sells a car for "inferior" gearboxes and customers just have to "live with it"?
