DHL frustration!!

My Parcel's status has been "clearance event" since sunday. I have called and provided my ID number as requested, but nothing has materialised. I'm very disappointed in DHL, especially since I do alot of importing and unfortunately my supplier uses DHL for freight fowarding.. I'm very frustrated with DHL, in fact I'm on the verge of asking my supplier to ship with with another company because it seems like DHL doesnt care about its customers. I've tried calling customer services 3 times this morning but I kept being cut off. and they dont seem to care about my frustration! the proforma invoice clearly states that its DDP, so I dont understand why there is such a delay. and the communication in this instance is very poor! Their terms and conditions you stipulate that if payment hasnt been received for shipping, then you charge storage but what is the remedy for a customer when the supplier has paid in advance but DHL or customs is holding the goods hostage? If someone had the curtesy to call and explain where the delay was I would understand. I've escalated to their complaints dept. Nothing! I hate having to resort to this. I dont want an apology, just my stuff!
