Volkswagen
POOR SERVICE, BAD ATTITUDE, ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTIC

Cars & Transport

Friday I got in contact with VW Wonderboom regarding a vehicle purchase. The car selling was R370000 which I asked the sales lady (via email) for the best price and she replied R360000 and I enquired on taking the maintainence plan. Upon getting there I made the deal with her and her superior at R360000 and not taking the maintainence or extended warranty. I secured this deal by paying a holding deposit. App was processed on Monday, banks approved me but I opted to negotiate further with the banks and achieved prime rate. The store manager Sias contacted me to say the deal is off as he is selling the car to another buyer as he is paying more for the vehicle. I explained this is illegal business practice as he still has my holding deposit and he states he will sell it to me only if i take all the extras at the higher interest rate that was approved initally. He went on to say that i am forced to take the vehicle at his conditions or not at all. I agreed to the extended warranty as I wanted the vehicle and signed the OTP.Upon contacting the store to find out when I can expect delivery and found out he sold the car already! I will never purchase a vehicle from VW unethical business practise!!!
