Infinity Auto
Selling defective cars with no respect to CPA

Cars & Transport

Bought a vehicle in July 2013 from Infinity Auto in Boksburg, only to see the engine go up in flames 10 days later. This obviously indicates the vehicle had a severe defect. After requesting to follow procedure under warranties and then failing to respond they were reported to the CPA. The CPA organization identified they are not operating under any CPA (Customer Protection Act) stipulation and they were requested to compensate under protection policies.

They agreed to pay compensation, but then having failed to keep their end of the agreement, let it be made known they are still operating unlawfully and selling potentially defective cars to the public with no responsibility to them with no protection to the buyer as a whole. Even under insurance, buyers are at risk of having to do major repairs.

Infiniti Auto does not operate lawfully under the CPA. There is no procedure to protect the buyer from defective vehicles. It is therefor that we place this company under report to protect the public and alert to high risks factors when buying vehicles there.
