Bought a packet of Obitt Professional gums which the price ticket said R12.00. When I got to the till it scanned R13.00 and I took off the price tag and showed it to the cashier. She called a guy by the name of Clinton which I assume he was the Manager, he told the cashier to give me a refund otherwise I must pay R13.00. I refused to take my money back because I believe the price you see is the price you pay and I also refused to pay extra because that is unfair business. I know a rand is not much to make noise for but what happened to free and fair business. The (manager) then took out a rand from his pocket gave it to the cashier. To me his actions were very spiteful because that's not the way of correcting their own mistakes. Firstly their pricing was wrong which is not my problem and he did not even apologize for the inconvenience caused instead he was very unpleasant. His actions made me to believe that if I was his race he was going to handle the situation in a different and matured manner. I guess my R12.00 does not add any value in that service station and for that matter I filled up my tank before I went inside the store. I wonder how he is treating his staff.
