Poor follow through

I had taken my car in to Lindsay Saker Hyde Park for a service at the end of August. The person who booked it in forgot to hand the job card to the workshop. As a result when I phoned at just before 16h00 to ask whether my car was ready, it was not because no one was aware my car was to be serviced prior to my call. I had spent the whole day waiting and would have continued waiting for nothing if I had not phoned to ask.

I was not happy with this incident and had rated their service accordingly.

Subsequently someone from the dealership phoned on Friday 6 September to explain and apologise and had offered to send something as a token of their apology. She had asked whether I was going to be at work so that she can send it through, she said that their drivers were on strike but will arrange for someone to come through.

I was most annoyed that I had waited for your driver and to this day NO ONE came. What you would have sent is something I probably do not want but I would be less upset if you had not undertaken to do something, made me wait for you the entire afternoon and then not do it.

You have wasted my time on 2 occasions!!!
