I have been trying for 2 days to reserve a silver Audi A4 for a photographic shoot. I was told that they could not guarantee that it would be silver?! I subsequently tried to make a booking, prepared to take a chance on the colour and could not get hold of Tarryn who had assisted me before, she did not return my urgent message and left the office. Diketseng attempted to assist me and located a silver Audi A4 in Pretoria which I was happy to book. It could not be delivered to Sandton and I was prepared to fetch it in Pretoria. I needed to pay for it in Sandton and was told that is impossible!? I asked to speak to someone senior, there had been NO managers available, according to Diketseng, for Tuesday or Wednesday - and was put through to Zodwa, secretary to the Operations Manager Justin. She agreed to arrange for me to pay for the car in Sandton BUT when she checked with Pretoria - THEY HAD NO SILVER AUDI A4s! She was going to try and locate one and I have heard nothing from her since 15h30 yesterday! I then called Sandton to try and reserve a car and was told that there are NO Audis in Gauteng. Avis clients vote with your feet - I'm going to. Shocking lack of service!
