Mini Cooper 2005

I own a Mini Cooper that is out of motor plan and with my last service at BMW was quoted R 1470 for the two gas struts that keep the boot open and then fitment a total of R 2100 - granted these are for the BMW original gas lifts. I felt this was too much and lived with a boot falling on my head but with all the rain this winter in Cape Town could no longer manage holding the boot and trying to get my stuff out. I called Zee Max who sourced the part numbers for me and found them at Master Parts the cost each at R 271.00 - they could have just put the phone down and said bring your car in but took my vin number and helped me find the exact matching gas lifts made in Germany with Febi number 27589 that I fitted using You Tube last night, I will be taking my Mini back to these guys for certain and good bye BMW, I have never come across such a helpful and willing attitude from a car repairer ever before and my Mini and Z3 has been to Auto Atlantic, Auric and Forsdicks over the past 8 years. So happy I found the Zee Max center wonderful attitude and quick response.
