RE: Appauling Service and Maintenance

I purchased a Vw Golf 6 GTI from this particular dealership, my car had been "serviced" at the required intervals. I had a few problems with certain dash board lights that popped up and sent the car to Vw. The car was returned and the lights were off. A little over a month ago my 60000km service was done and my Maintenance Warranty had expired. I decided to take my car to tech experts to find out if it was normal for a whiny noise to start when I start my car, I found that my air filter and spark plugs were never changed and to top it off, a few accessories to the engine (turbo valves) were glued with silicon to seal it. The spark plugs were not even tightened!!! I was stunned to see the quality of workmanship from this dealer.

The worst part is, the dashboard lights DONT ALWAYS flicker if there are mechanical problems on the car. I felt robbed, my advice to people that service their cars, make sure u see that they scan for faults on the pc in your presence and ALWAYS get a second opinion.
