Prepaid but no Rental Vehicle - Ref nr 1850285

On Tuesday evening I needed to book a rental vehicle urgently for use on Wednesday, to be collected in Pta and dropped-off at Lanseria Airport. I searched the web and found First Car Rentals. I spoke to someone at Lanseria Airport who told me to pay and book a car via the website, which I did. The following morning when I arrived at the Hatfield branch to collect the vehicle, I was told that my Capitec Card that was good enough to prepay, was however not good enough to pay again (a deposit for insurance, etc - approx R2000), since it had to be embossed. They said that they cannot provide me with the car that I booked and prepaid for, since my card was not embossed. I had to make alternative arrangements. I therefore request that my R258 that I prepaid be refunded by paying it into my Capitec account. I phoned First Car customer services, but was told they had to forward the request to management and that they would get back to me. This is not good enough. I want to be refunded, since I did not get what I paid for - as simple as that.
