Ripped-off and refusal to investigate complaint

I went to CSC JetPark with my 2002 Audi A4 31 Oct 2012. Cooling system pressure test confirmed leak from coolant flange (deterioration of rubber washer over time, known fault). Coolant flush was done. I supplied parts and fluids. Should have cost only R775.20 BUT manager (Sipiwe) called at about 13h45 to say thermostat problem as well and final bill was R4303.50. I approved work based on what he claimed re thermostat problem.
Later investigation revealed (1) thermostat was NOT faulty nor have I ever had overheating or any related temperature problem on the car in 10 years and (2) oil level dipstick holder was broken and then just left like that until I checked my oil later (after confronting it was replaced). I logged complaint with Customer care (Natasha Botha) - 3page doc with other incriminating evidence. Response has been poor. I have avoided going public route thus far and have pleaded for an investigation to no avail. Even emails to Mr Grant Brady (CEO and Founder) have met with silence.

My claim is for R3528.30 of unnecessary cost due to CSC Jetpark EITHER making misdiagnosis (I hope) OR just plain planned the rip-off for that afternoon (I think).
