Speedy Tyre & Fitment
Speedy buggered up my IX35's rear bumpe

Cars & Transport

I took my brand new IX35 to Speedy Vredenburg (Western Cape) to get a tow bar fitted. When I got back home (PTA) 2 days after they fitted the tow bar I realized that the bottom light on the bumper wasn't working and I'm sure it was working as my vehicle is brand new. I also noted that there were 3 screws missing on the inside which holds the bumper to the rest of the body, and 2 screws which hold the mud flaps to the bumper. I phoned them and asked them if they could arrange with a Speedy in PTA to have a look at it to get the light working again and to replace the screws. Long story short; I lost count of how many times I had to phone them, eventually gave up. Because they didn't put all the screws back after fitting the tow bar my bumper doesn't sit where it use to and my boot doesn't close properly. If this was an old vehicle I wouldn't have minded, but this is a brand new vehicle (not even 3000km's on the clock) and they it up, and obviously they're not interested to correct their mistakes. I would honestly not do business with these guys again, and strongly recommend you check your vehicle thoroughly before leaving their premises.
