NO RESPONSE FOR CAR REPAIR TIME PERIOD - DELAY

Cars & Transport

My father bought a Renault Megane in 2008, and immediately started having problems with it. We have been back and forth in terms of fixing the vehicle and have to date spent in excess of R40000 in repairs. We have taken the car to be fixed at the Tokai Renault branch countless times, only for it to be returned unfixed. It was taken in the last time to be repaired in January 2013, a week after the warranty expired, and we have received the car back twice since January, only to have to return it back to the dealer after 30 minutes for the same problem that we experienced since 2008! We were informed on 16 September '13 that the vehicle would be fixed and ready by 20 September '13, then after this failed to materialise I emailed Nico and Melissa asking for the date when the car would FINALLY BE READY! No response was received and it is now 2 October 2013, I also called Nico on 1 October 2013, left a message with no response received. Can you imagine not having the full use and enjoyment of a vehicle for the past 9 months! This is unacceptable behaviour from a so called "reputable" car dealership. Maybe now we will get a response. We were given a courtesy car for which we are grateful.
