Trimming on side of the car coming off

I have had my Geely LC Cross for just over a year and it stands at 16, 000 km. I decided to wash my car on Sunday and noticed the trimming on both doors is peeling off. I contacted the dealer where I was told that he would arrange for me to take it to a panel beater in Retreat to fix which I thought was unreasonable.

I then contacted John Killian Customer Care Officer GeelySA who put an email through to Granville Jooster Warranty Administrator for Geely SA who advises me that the Warranty for trimming is 6months or 12, 000km. This to me is very poor service if they want to improve the brand and should at least try and make an effort to assist their customers and not simply brush it off as not their problem. All it needs is a little bit of adhesive or glue to let it be fixed to the body of the car.
