Volkswagen
MIDBAY MOTORS DISSIMAL SERVICE

Cars & Transport

I recently sent my car in for a service 7 days ago to date 26/09/2013. The reason for the service was do diagnose an engine light and a major service. I sent the car in with the intention of trading it in to Midbay VW afterward.. The car was received in and I was contacted about the engine light he cited a harness as the fault which I advised him to change, thereafter he cited valve block as a fault. Which I advised him to change at this time I asked him if after this change all will be restored he did state that it would. Thereafter he told that the part would arrive wednesday 25092013 which it did not.

I believe that midbay have misrepresented themselves using my money to replace all components in the system and now the have cited the ECU as faulty which is 17k to replace. This is a money making scheme and utter decepyion by not being up front the entire process.

I called the workshop manager and he did advise me that the fault codes had shown the ecu was also faulty, this was withheld from in making a sound decision and on asking him to remove this valve block he has advised me that he cannot. Citing that I told them to change it. This is deception..
