Repairs on a new car - Unhappy

Cars & Transport

On the 23rd July 2013 I collected a Renault Sandero Stepway 1.6 which I purchased from the Midrand branch. A few days later it had weird noises, the sales manager tested it & agreed that I need to bring it in to be checked & they said it was the loose cover underneath, it was sorted. On the 14th of September the car broke down, it had no power, smoke everywhere, petrol fumes, the smell of burning rubber and oil were unbearable. I called Renault assist, in the early hrs of Sunday, they towed my car away. We (my 1yr old & 7mnths pregnant female) were not offered an alternative safe way to get us home. It's like they were more concerned about their car's safety & didn't care about its occupants. To my surprise they said they'd offer me an rental car if I was driving a Clio! I was without a transport that whole week even after I emailed H/O, I was given the loan car on the 19th because of delaying ordered parts. Today is the 25th, the loan car is due for service, they were not aware & I will not carry that responsibility. This whole dilemma defeats my reasons for buying a brand new car & bad customer service. I need to know how all this will be remedied.
