Repair of BMW

Cars & Transport

8 May 2013 I saw a 2002 BMW 318i E46 at High Road Auto R65 900. I was allowed to test drive the vehicle for 100m up the road and back, which was said is the distance to take a car for a test drive. I was assured that the vehicle was in 100% working condition in front of two witnesses. 10
May I paid R10000 deposit. Wanted to take the car for a test drive, again was refused. 11 May the balance was paid cash to owner (Rolfe). I then received the vehicle and papers. On that day there were problems with the oil light coming on. 13 May I took it back to Rolfe. He said he will fix it. A week later I received the car but the problem was still there. The car was then taken to Mahindra/Autoshpere in Benoni where it stayed aprox 2 months. On receiving the car 5 July "repaired", there were worse problems. It could barely drive, several warning lights appeared and there was a huge problem with the automatic gearbox which was faultless before. I took the car back to Autoshpere 6 July. They towed it to Focus On Service, Witfield on 8 July where it has been ever since and still is today. Autosphere messed up the car and refuse to pay the account of R15000 and I am not allowed to take the vehicle
