I recently took my Ford Fiesta for a 80000 km service at Allen Joss Auto in Annlin Pretoria. I was informed that my service would cost R1729 plus extra to replace my fan belt, front brakes and to skim my brake discs. In total it would cost me R4955. That is a lot of money to pay, so I opted to pay only for the service and the fan belt and to have the rest done privately.

The following day I was informed by a private technician that the wheel bolts were still rusted closed. There is no way to determine that brakes need replacing without removing the wheels. The front brakes pads still have carbon dust on them and they do not need to be replaced for at least another 10000km! Also my air filter and spark plugs were not replaced. I have photos for proof. I am severely dissapointed in Allen Joss. Needless to say, they will not see me or my friends ever again!
