Action Ford and Mazda
Abuse of vehicle in their care

Cars & Transport

I have a 5mnth Ford Focus ST. the engine light came on and i booked it into ford. they had a look and advised that the engine sensor is faulty. i will still be adressing this, as i do not beleive a 5mnth veh can have a 'faulty sensor' which picks up engine defects. i left the vehicle in the care of ford, when i picked up the veh, the readings on the vehicle where of the chart! i had filled my tank that morning. they test drove the veh for 7km's but managed to take the distance to empty from approx 535km to 445km's when i collected. the average fuel consumption jumped from 13km's to 26km's! indicating that for those 7km's the consultants drove the out of my vehicle. i trusted ford to have the duty and care while my vehicle was in their possession, but all that was demonstrated, was the abuse of the vehicle... i want answers, and i wish to warn other ford drivers about Action Ford Roodepoort and their unethical conduct. i do not abuse my vehicle, and do not expect this abuse from my dealership. when i bought the veh, they couldnt help me enough, now i receive this kind of service.
