Eplacement of Clutch Kit - goes bust

Cars & Transport

In July last year, I had my Clutch kit of my Ope Astra 2008 replaced. It a year later and the clutch is again giving problems. The Kit was replaced by Midrand. I had my vehicle taken in to the Sandton Fury branch today 16th of September to perform a 90 000km service and check out the shudder on my cutch system. They performed my service but refused to help on the clutch stating the the MIdrand branch must attend to the problem.

hence I have booked the vehicle to be checked at the Midrand branch. Also what is strange that my car is having this problem for the second time even though it has not even reached 100 000 km. It strange that this fault occur. It my assumption that the first job was not done correctly or second hand parts have been used to replace kit.
GM Sandton is now quoting aprox R12000 in total to have (service and labour) to have this checked replaced if the case is such.
This is a total sham to charge a customer whose kit was replaced and within a year same problem re-occurs.
Is this how these franchises operate, does the CEO of GM know how these businesses are run and total sham to the unsuspecting consumer. I am totally disgusted. I will never recommend GM agai
