Poor service and incompetence

I have a Volvo XC60 which are fitted OEM with Pirelli tyres. The front tyres are due for replacement and after much calling around the cheapest price I could get is R4300 a tyre. I made my mind up to look at a more cost effective tyre as the pirellis didnt last very long. After much research I decided to take the Bridgestone Dueler HP sport. After phoning around Autoquip have the best price. Yesterday, 12th September, I head off to Fourways over my lunch break to get the tyres fitted. Sherman is the person I have been dealing with. He notes I have pirellis on the car and informs me he can do the Pirellis at a much better price. He quotes me R2500 per tyre fitted. I queried this 3 times with Sherman, advising him several times the competitions quotes have been close to double. I decide to wait the 24 hours for the pirellis, When I got back to the office I called him again to make sure the price quoted was correct and was assured all was well. Sure enough today I get a call advising me the price he quoted me was wrong and is R1300 more per tyre. Two hours of my day wasted yesterday, time off work I cannot get back. Very very poor service
