Poor service / and client reliations

My Opel Corsa Utility 1.4 2007 was send for its 105 000km service at that moment it had 105910 km on the clock.
I bought my bakkie in 2011 in mint condition and kept it that way by servicing it @ the above mentioned dealer.

The service took place on 22/08/2013/ my bakkie was in tip top shape when i send it in for the service. Nobody told or contact me or the friend who took my bakkie to the dealer to tell me what must be replaced or needed my attention. When i drove around with my bakkie the next day it suddenly started to miss and now, my gasket has broken and need to be replaced which will cost me a fortune that i don`t have. I bought this verchile to take my disabled son and friends to school in Kuilsriver because there enough space for my other kids and the wheelchair when i went to fetch them or take them away on off weekends.

I want to know if GM assist can help me fix the problem beacause i`m in dire straits and are afraid ill damage my bakkie furthter. HELP
