Brakes shot after being passesd by AA tech test

Further to your response dated 27 August I would ask you a question. If your wife called you to say the brakes of her car were making a grinding noise, wouldn't you tell her to take it immediately to the garage to have them looked at. This is what I did and they (Westvaal, a reputable franchise agency) advised me that the front brake pads and discs were totally worn. I had no choice but to replace them. As per my e-mail dated 19 July I kindly asked you to please contact Westvaal to determine the extent of the worn discs and pads. I even gave you there number.

Please would you contact Somerset West Westvaal (Chev agents) to verify that the brakes were metal on metal. There contact number is 021 8521107.
I don't want to go to sites like Hello Peter.
I await your reply after your discussions with Westvaal.
