Vito jack failure

I contacted Mercedes / Daimler in February re. a broken jack. It is my second Mercedes Vito Crewbus and our jack also broke after using it a few times on our first Vito. Our second Vito's jack broke after our first use.
I wrote a letter to Head Office and was scolded by them that I did not follow the route of phoning the call-centre... (I do not have much faith in call-centres). I was contacted by a Mr. Preamdutt of Daimler first and then Mr. Kistado took over.
It is now 6 months later and I have not received any feedback from them, other than asking for my vehicle's VIN nr.
