Honest and decent garage

When my 4 cylinder Conquest was suddenly running on only 3 cylinders, we took the car to Parklands Autocare Centre. Most people are nervous of garages and mechanics because of all the rumors regarding many of them ripping people off. In fact, a few years back I took the car for a service and long story short, they had completely closed the gap on 1 spark plug, causing a misfire, and then tried to sell me an engine overhaul!

After dropping the car off at Parklands Autocare, I was phoned an hour later to say that the car is ready for collection. Apparently it was just a blown spark plug (phew!). They put a used, working plug in and there was no charge. A few weeks back they had also helped my friend, whose car broke down near their garage, with a temporary fix at no charge so she could at least get home.

I'm glad to have a decent, caring garage close to home, and I would recommend them to anyone!
