Hi Nissan

We are interested in purchasing a new Qashqai and requested a test drive from Nissan Roodepoort.

On both occasions that we did test drives, the vehicles were brand new and all the instrumentation was disconnected (for example the speedometer did not work).

I'm concerned that they keep using new cars for test-drives and just disconnect all the instrumentation so it doesn't show the kilometres travelled - and then sell the demo cars as new cars.

Please see quote from the email I sent to the sales person:

"Good morning Sydney,

Thank you for arranging the test-drive yesterday. My wife was very happy with the 1.5 dci.

I'm a bit concerned that you keep using new cars for test-drives and just disconnect all the instrumentation so it doesn't show the kilometres travelled. I hope that if I buy a new car I actually get a new car and not a demo..."
