Ford SA worst service ever!

We purchased a brand new Ford Bantam 1300. The vehicle is extremely heavy on fuel. It gives 8 kilos to a litre, which is worse than my Mercedes C200. I haves spoken to Darius a couple of times at Head Office - Ford. I have also taken it to Kouga Ford in Humansdorp but they say the Bantam is built that way to have more power and they don't want to help any further. Kouga Ford also says Ford`s previous Bantam didn't have enough power so they changed the gear ratio to make it stronger and because of this it uses excessive amounts of fuel. If Ford knows that a 1300 vehicle uses this much fuel shouldn't they warn a customer first. We specifically bought the vehicle for low fuel consumption. Ford SA head office doesn't want to help, I have even asked to speak to a Manager but am told that they are busy and a Manager will call me back and they still haven't. I have sent Ford SA two mails already as well but they don't even answer the mails! I think this is honestly pathetic service from a large car manufacturer like Ford. I have also sent the full story to Carte Blanche. Maybe they will use it!
