Cape Express was selected to do my furniture removal. I went down to Heidelberg, GP to be present. They loaded all my furniture including my Genesis carpet machine. They offloaded in a store on the Saturday and on the Monday afternoon at my new address. The new address I gave them was entered incorrectly. On counting the boxes with the driver of the new crew (crew that loaded was nor there), there was a box missing. On looking at my list I saw that the box (original) containing my genesis machine was not there. The box is green and displays content clearly and all parts fits properly into box. The driver reported the matter and I was informed by Marius that they will look at the house of person that they delivered furniture to on the Saturday. I had to Phone them back for answers. Marius told me that he will have polygraph test done. I was told to open a chase of and I did so. I waited two weeks and no phone calls from them. I phoned them three days in a row but Marius always busy. After the third day another lady phoned me for email address. They mailed me saying that I would have to pay for the polygraph test if the staff pass. My furniture removal was insured for R 20000.
