Bad Service from vehicle warranty

I have a Golf 6 Gti that came out of warranty in November 2012.Before the warranty expire i looked into taking an extended warranty and Mcsure was offering a plan that stated if a new warranty plan was taken 30 days before the existing vw warranty expires the warranty plan will have more value than standard Mcsure warranty. In june 2013 my car went to vw umhlanga and after doing the necessary tests it was discovered that gearbox had an internal fault and the steering rack is damaged and was making is knocking sound. Wiseman the service adviser at Vw Umhlanga told me that he will submit the claim to Mcsure and will contact me when he gets feedback. After liaising with Wiseman for 2 weeks cos he told me that he was getting no joy from Mcsure adviser namely E.B.I decided to phone E.B. personally. Iasked E.B. what seems to be the delay with claim and he told me that all test sheets have not been submitted. After i told him that i have followed up and it has been done he began getting frustrated and said that i must get Vw to remove the rack and he will send it to his contacts to cut the rack cut in have with an angle grinder to see whats wrong internally.
