Car rental R146 for one day is now R2500

On 28 June I hired a car for one day using Travelstart. Woodford offered a good rate for a Nissan Micra of R146 for the day. As I had four meeting booked for the day all in JHB area I felt that the 100km for the day would be more than adequate. I arrived on the 28th and picked up a new Micra with the staff at pains to tell me that the car only had 700km on the clock. It is now 15 July and I still have an amount of R2464.62 plus the booking fee of R38 deducted from my credit card. I have phoned the JHB office three times to query the amount and was told I had travelled over 700km during the day and was being billed extra for the amount over 100 km. Rakesh said he would get the DBN office to sort it out, but that was two weeks ago. Quite a feat to attend four meetings each lasting over an hour and drive over 700 km in JHB traffic in one working day
