I rented a Hyundai I10 on Friday 05/07. I went over the car with the sales lady and documented all the scratches. She just gave me the car and before I drove off, took a picture of the odometer - about 2kms down the road I stopped as I noticed that the car does not have a full tank petrol, so took a photo of this aswell. I couldn't turn back as I was going to be late for a meeting if I had to go back and argue and since I get paid per hour, it would be more time wasted. When I got to Pretoria I looked at the slip they gave me and on there it said that the car had 5kms less than when I climbed into it. I called the number on the Website and was given Anette Venter's number, phoned and left a message to rectify this problem. I have not yet had anyone returned my call.

Just wondering if you do this deliberately to make more money? OR is it just to catch your trusting clients??? I have to take the car back with a full tank petrol and that 5 additional kms could cost me as well...
