A purchased a new Ford Ranger from Barlow world Pinetown in April2013. Upon delivery I noticed the controls on the steering not working. The salesman told me to bring the vehicle back in the next week and it will be sorted out. The vehicle was with the dealership for a week and the problem could not be sorted out. I was then told that a new vehicle will be replaced as this was a factory fault and I would have to wait for two weeks which I agreed to. After my numerous calls and visits after two weeks I was told that the vehicle was not supposed to come with those additions and I will have to settle for a standard Bakkie. Much to my disapointment, I agreed. I would now have to wait a further three weeks and I was given original vehicle to use and I had to return this one when my new replacement arrived. After my numerous call and visits I was now told that I must accept the vehicle as it is or return it to them, they were not prepared to even supply me with another vehicle. The dealer principal and the sales manager refused to entertain my claims and dissatisfaction. I returned the vehicle and they then refused to settle my loan as they had initial promised. STAY AWAY PLEASE!
