Experts expect their clients to know better!!!

I took my car to get serviced by Car Service City. I asked them to do a full check and handle whatever was wrong. When i took it to them the car was in mint condition. After taking the car back 4 times after the initial service and asking them to handle the noise coming from the engine, which wasn't there when I took the car in for the initial service, they assured me it was all good. The car then blew up two weeks later. Car Service City are now saying they didn't do work on the area that caused the car to blow up?? The point is I am not an expert and went to them to detect and repair any and all problems and paid R7000 for the service with the assurance that the entire engine had been checked and all was fine!! I never once refused to pay for any work and expected them to detect and handle any and all problems. They are now refusing to take responsibility!! They expected me to know what was wrong with my car???
