On Friday 31 May a DHL driver randomly delivered something to someone in the hope that I would get it. The driver had my number, and I was two minutes away. They did not call me as they were advised to do, and I caught the driver leaving my street after he had just dumped the delivery.

I contacted the head office to complain and was advised someone would get back to me. When no one had I called again and had to explain the whole thing again. I was assured that an investigation would take place, as well as a disciplinary hearing, and by Friday I would receive an invitation to be a witness at this hearing.

It is now Friday and I have heard nothing. DHL were paid substantial money to ensure that only myself was to take delivery of the parcel and they did not do this. Whilst it was reassuring that it sounded like they were taking this breach seriously, I suspect they were not being honest and no such investigation has taken place since I have not heard from them.

It is disappointing that an international company is behaving in such a way.
