ENGEN WATERMEYER FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

My wife and I just stopped at the Watermeyer Engen station on Watermeyer road, Meyerspark, Pretoria East today on 2 Jun'13 at 2h45. They have a HUGE A1 stand outside advertising a FREE 150g Niknaks if you buy a Sunday Times... There was no "from or to" date on the sign stating that the promo is valid for a certain period. Went inside, my wife took 1 of each (plenty of stocks)... Got to the till - the cashier was struggling to ring up the goods... Looks like she is new there! After struggling for about 3 minutes for 2 items my wife asks her why is the Niknaks not for free? She then told my wife no its no longer valid. My wife then asked her why it was still advertised - she replied because she does not know how to change it on the system!!! My wife then asked to speak to a manager - when she replied there is no manager on duty. STRANGE, then all of a sudden a black buy in civil clothes standing at the till point reading a newspaper quickly responded "the special is finished" - without saying anything further!!! HE WAS RUDE AND ARROGANT AND DID NOT OFFER TO EXPLAIN AT ALL! The cashier was also extremely rude, did not greet and HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING!!!
