Dear McCarthy Hatfield.

We bought a Corsa lite 1.4, 2008 model from their dealership on the 1st of May 2013
It had a full service history and had just been serviced at 45000Km's.
We were given a DEKRA certificate and a 30day from sale warranty and thought all was well.
Within the first week: reverse lights were not working (sold to us, having undergone DEKRA), it smoked, lost power, and stalled.
It was returned back to Hatfield and they ran a diagnostic. They kept it for an entire day and ran it through the night to find the fault. They found no fault returned to us. On receiving the car, I noticed that the reverse lights were still not working. Apparently, when they serviced it, ran it through DEKRA and ran the Diagnostic, they failed to notice that.
I showed them that it was not working and they said it was a fuse, that they could fix.
We were also told by the Reuben, their technician that we were not to use the car charger facility, as it would short-circuit the engine.
A week later, the car began, failing to start, resetting the odometer every time it eventually started, it smoked, it would shudder and lose power again.
