Avis, quick to take your money, but long refunds

Avis Parow will take seconds to take your money, but when it comes to the refund I was told that it can take up to 30 days to receive your refund for your deposit. Wondering who is receiving all the interest earned on delaying the allrefunds. Avis just blame it on the bank. The refund process is out of their control. This was not explained to me upfront. I will as my insurer to make use of another company next time. I received a call from the Parow Cape Town branch and they were nothing as what is sold through their advertising campaigns. Please rethink if you use Avis. Ask your insurer for another option. They are nothing as what they pretent to be in their TV adverts.
