"Equipped Camper" Unroadworthy, unsafe and Dirty

The "Equipped" camper we rented from Kea Camper Hire last month was in an unacceptable state of repair. Some highlights:

- The water tank provided on the vehicle had a serious leak which meant that we lost roughly 60% of our water

- The tire iron provided with our vehicle did not fit the nuts so we were unable to remove the wheel

- The jack provided was leaking hydraulic fluid and so was not able to hold the vehicle up

- The auxiliary battery was unable to hold charge and so we had no power for lights and other essentials

- The original gas cilinder provided with the vehicle was entirely empty

- There was no gas key to use the emergency canister

- The back left compartment does not unlock from the outside (so we couldn't access the table or chairs)

- Wine glasses were not properly secured and so broke as we drove

- Many basic items were missing both from the equipment list provided

- There were dead insects and insects eggs in the bathroom and linen

Their negligence amounted to a safety hazard and their service was incredibly rude. The worst I have ever experienced. We contacted them when we returned but the matter has still not been resolved. NEVER RENT from Kea!
