Volkswagen
Bought & received 2 new defective vehicles

Cars & Transport

I bought a new VW Tiguan during April 2013 which had several defects. I complained to dealer-My complaints not resolved satisfactorily as poor communication and dealer not taking responsibility for repairing my vehicle which resulted in complaint to Consumer Protector whereafter dealer agreed to release me from the deal provided I purchase a new vehicle.
During August 2013 I purchased a more expensive VW Golf 7 Gti from the same dealership which vehicle I immediately noticed had several defects eg lights not working properly and the stop/start function was faulty. The water pump broke after a few days (at mileage of 400kms) The water pump was repaired & when I collected the vehicle I noticed scratches & rust & a new strange noise which turned out to be a damaged shock mounting. The lights & the scratches & rust to the body have not been repaired and the dealership is not taking responsibility & giving me conclusive answers as to when the vehicle will be in the condition it should have been in when I bought it.
I do not have confidence in their vehicles and do not feel safe transporting my young children as I fear something else will break any minute and compromise our safety.
