I bought a new BMW 320i and did not know I had a serious oil problem and as I have low mileage and after putting in several tins of oil after 8 months I raised the alarm. I was treat badly by BMW who have no customer care skill that I went to the Ombudsman. The matter went to the motor ombudsman who is is the pocket of his paymaster being BMW, they have not proper technical capability. I back this up by one of their comments to check the dip stick. Well if you know a simple point BMW has not had a dip stick for nearly 20 years.
They are a bunch of old retired people, look at the photo of them to understand, who don't know anything, nor do they read both parties correspondence but showed that they only read what their paymaster tells them. Time a current affairs or carte Blanche program looked into the operation. They say they are technically competent I can vouch for it I dont. I asked for two very simple and easy outcomes, 1. They installed a new engine then add the mileage done onto the motor plan being 20, 000 or replace the vehicle under the agreement with the BMW CEO where some money would need to be paid in. I advised that the problem still persist reply "so what" DISGRAC
